Primary Care Trusts standards and assessments

The previous version of the Standard for these healthcare organisations was withdrawn in March 2006 and replaced with a revised set of NHSLA Risk Management Standards for Primary Care Trusts in April 2008 after completion of an extensive pilot assessment exercise in 2007/08.

PCTs who provide labour ward services are also subject to assessment against the CNST Maternity Clinical Risk Management Standards.
 

Where PCTs are assessed under both the NHSLA PCT and CNST Maternity Standards an appropriate discount will be applied to the relevant portion of their contributions.
