The NHSLA Risk Management Standard for the Provision of Pre Hospital Care in the Ambulance Service was withdrawn in March 2006 and replaced with a revised set of NHSLA Risk Management Standards for Ambulance Trusts in April 2008 after completion of an extensive pilot assessment exercise in 2007/08.
