Counter Fraud and Security Management Service
(CFSMS) is responsible for all policy and operational matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud and corruption and the management of security in the NHS.

Healthcare Concordat

Concordat between bodies inspecting, regulating and auditing healthcare
to which the NHSLA is a signatory.

The
Audit Commission
carries out national research designed to promote economy, efficiency and effectiveness in local public services. In September 2003 it published a

on how public bodies have responded to the Human Rights Act.
