The NHSLA has a Board consisting of a Chairman, four non-executive directors, a Chief Executive and a Director of Finance. Details are available in our current Annual Report. We are accountable through our Chairman to the Secretary of State for Health, who is accountable to Parliament. Our Framework Document sets out our remit, while our Business Plan is agreed annually with the Department of Health.
Board meeting are held every two months, and since October 2003 Board Reports and Minutes have been published via this website.

Good corporate citizen
The Authority takes its responsibilities as a corporate citizen seriously and has an action plan to address issues of sustainability across all its activities, using the Good Corporate Citizen model developed for NHS organisations by the Sustainable Development Commission.
