Age Discrimination

The Litigation Authority has been asked by the Department of Health, with effect from 29 May 2009, to oversee Age Discrimination claims against English NHS bodies.

We do not propose, at present, to ask for sign-up as we did with Equal Pay, because there are currently far fewer claims.  However, we are happy to consider problems or offer a strategic view. We cannot give legal advice, which should be sought from a solicitor or barrister in the usual way.
